Job Description
We are looking for a Pilates Supervisor to join our team in Burnaby, BC, Canada.
Clinic Name: Joayo Therapy
Position and condition: Pilates Supervisor, Full time, Permanent
Wage Rate and working hours: $34.65 per hour / 30Hours per week
Work Location: 4664 Lougheed Hwy suite 100C, Burnaby, BC V5C 5T5
Start date: as soon as possible
Main Duties:
-Developing and planning Pilates programs and coordinating special sporting events.
-Coordinating programs effectively to meet client demand and maintain coverage.
-Planning the Pilates programs based on posture and functional ability
-Preparing research papers and educational texts or articles.
-Maintaining client records and updating them regularly
-Maintaining a clean and safe Pilates studio environment and managing inventory
-Supervising Pilates sessions to ensure Pilates instructors prioritize safety and excellent teaching
-Providing guidance and mentorship to Pilates instructors to enhance their teaching skills and their understanding of Pilates principles.
Qualifications:
– 2+ years of instructor experiencing in Pilates or a related field
– A college diploma or higher in physical education, sports, recreation or a related field
– Able to communicate in English
– Recognized Pilates or related certification from a reputable organization preferred
– Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
