Job Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate and schedule daily site activities of the framing crew and subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies and building code requirements.
Monitor and approve work progress, troubleshoot site issues, and adjust schedules or resource allocation as needed.
Requisition, monitor and manage materials, supplies and equipment to ensure timely delivery and efficient usage.
Report on job-site status, labour, material usage and productivity to senior management.
Train, mentor and monitor workers and subcontractors in job duties, safety procedures and company expectations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the work-scope.
Maintain a positive, productive and professional working environment on site.
Credentials & Qualifications
Secondary (high school) diploma or equivalent is required
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to lead a crew and coordinate with subcontractors
Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
Solid working knowledge of construction processes, framing methods, quality control, and safety standards
Experience & Specialization
Experience (1-2 years) in residential framing or structural construction is desired.
Familiarity with scheduling, workflow coordination, ordering materials, and supervising trades or labourers
Demonstrated ability to ensure on-site productivity, maintain quality workmanship, and enforce safety protocols
Working Environment
On-site work at construction locations with exposure to outdoor elements, variable weather
Physical demands (standing, bending, walking, manual material handling) consistent with standard construction supervision roles
Monday to Friday, additional hours may be required
Regular interaction with framing crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management
