Job Description
Overview
Papillon Medical is a physician-led medical and aesthetic clinic serving Calgary and Okotoks, providing comprehensive, evidence-based dermatologic care in a collaborative, patient-centred environment supported by experienced clinical staff and modern technology.
The Dermatologist will provide full-scope specialist dermatology services, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of disorders of the skin, hair, and nails across all age groups. Duties include performing comprehensive dermatologic examinations; diagnosing and treating acute and chronic dermatologic conditions; conducting skin cancer screening and dermoscopy; performing biopsies and minor dermatologic surgical procedures including excisions, cryotherapy, and electrosurgery; and prescribing and monitoring topical, systemic, and biologic therapies.
The Dermatologist will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide follow-up and long-term care, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care. The role requires independent clinical practice consistent with specialist registration on the CPSA General Register and adherence to CPSA standards, ethical guidelines, and continuing professional development requirements.

Minimum Requirements
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
– Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities: Eligible for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) – General Register
AND:
– Specialist Training in Dermatology (or equivalent training)
– Ability to practise independently across the full scope of dermatology
