Job Description
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure handling and proper placement.
Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to monitor the vehicle’s condition and performance.
Inspect and maintain critical vehicle systems, including tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration units, and other equipment.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as brake adjustments to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Plan and modify routes using GPS and other navigation tools to adapt to changing conditions, aiming to reduce fuel consumption and minimize carbon emissions.
Maintain accurate records of cargo, driving hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate and drive as part of a team or convoy when required to ensure timely and coordinated deliveries.
Languages: English
Credentials: Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee
