Job Description
I, Melissa Merchant, am looking for a responsible and reliable child caregiver for my two children aged 5 and 10 in Chilliwack BC. This will be a full-time position, permanent with 8 hours a day and 30 to 40 hours a week.
You will be performing the job duties mentioned below:
Supervise and care for children.
Bathe dress, and feed children.
Plan and prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties.
Oversee childrenโs activities, such as meals and rest periods.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
Instruct children in personal hygiene
Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development.
Discipline children according to the methods requested.
Provide age appropriate educational training through organized activities, such as games, craft reading, and outings
Take children to and from school and appointments
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
Requirement of the job position:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a training program in childcare or minimum two years of paid work experience in childcare in a professional setting or home is required.
English as required,
Job offer:
$20 per hour.
This is not a live-in caregiver position. Living in is not a condition of employment.
4% vacation pay.
