Job Description

Mainland Plumbing and Heating Ltd. located at #34 – 145 Schoolhouse Street, Coquitlam, BC, V3K6V9 requires 2 full time and permanent plumbers. The work location will take place across all towns Fraser Valley Langley, Maple Ridge, Pit Meadows, Coquitlam, Vancouver, White Rock, Surrey, New Westminster, etc.)

Duties

Completing plumbing work in new installations, repairs and unplugging drains
Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines
Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
May prepare cost estimates.
Use a power snake, hydro jetting, and do camera inspection
Drain system troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs
Weekend work might be required

Qualifications/Requirements

Plumber Trade Certificate from any jurisdiction
Fluent in English

Wages

$45 per hour / 40 hours per week
