Job Description

Mr. Max Roofing Ltd. (https://maxroofingbc.ca) is hiring experienced Roofers and Waterproofers

Various job sites across Greater Vancouver, BC

Permanent, full-time job

Start date: as soon as possible

Wage: $36.60/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week

Job duties:

  • Install, repair or replace roofing systems using various materials and tools, lay new roofing materials such as asphalt, wood, steel and plastics;
  • Install insulation, sheet metal flashings, set up vapor barriers and vents;
  • Build, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials;
  • Install and repair metal roofs;
  • Install shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings;
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete surfaces;
  • Use SBS modified bitumen membrane/hot torch;
  • Use hand and power tools and other necessary equipment (e.g. scaffold, ladder);
  • Follow safety rules.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of roofing experience
  • Must have operational knowledge of English
  • Completion of secondary school
