FAMILY CAREGIVER – ELDERLY CARE

Job Details
Position Type: Full-time (Term or contract)
Schedule: Day, Morning shifts
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Workplace: On site – Employer’s home (Non-smoking environment)
Salary: $20.00 per hour

Education and Experience
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar caregiving role
Work Environment & Setting
Work is performed in the employer’s private residence
Optional live-in accommodation available at no cost (not a condition of employment)
Work is fully on-site; remote work is not an option
Responsibilities
Administer bedside and personal care
Provide personal hygiene assistance
Assist with regular physical activities (e.g., walks)
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Administer medications as prescribed
Light housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, mending clothes and linens
Offer companionship and emotional support
Client Focus
Elderly individual requiring daily care and companionship
May require lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
