DAMOA SUSHI, located at 103a Grove Place, Drumheller, AB T0J 0Y1, Canada, is currently looking for Two (2) permanent, full time Cook qualified. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.

·       Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·       Compensation: $18.00 per hour

·       Working hours: 30-40 hours per week

·       Benefits: 4% of vacation pay / Free meals at work and Tips

Job Duties

·       Prepare and cook high-quality Japanese foods, sushi, and sashimi, including Udon, Tempura, Teriyaki, Katsu, Donburi, and various Maki rolls tailored to Damoa Sushi’s concepts.

·       Prepare and cook authentic Korean-style hot dishes such as Bulgogi and Bibimbap, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.

·       Plan menus, create new specialized sauces, and develop daily items.

·       Supervise and train kitchen staff, kitchen helpers, and food preparers to ensure seamless team coordination and efficient kitchen operations.

·       Maintain inventory and detailed records of food, supplies, and equipment, and place orders when required to manage kitchen food costs.

·       Oversee the overall quality control of all served dishes and consistently determine appropriate portion sizes.

·       Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering strictly to provincial food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements

·       Completion of secondary school

·       Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a cook in a commercial restaurant (or) Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks (or) Completion of college or other program in cooking is required
