Job Description
Turon-Business LTD is hiring Carpenters
Location: Various job sites across Greater Edmonton, AB
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
Wage: $36.60/hour
Main duties:
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications, prepare layouts;
- Measure, cut, assemble, and join lumber and wood materials;
- Build different wooden construction structures, like foundations, walls, roofs etc;
- Inspect, repair and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures;
- Install different trim items as required;
- Operate and maintain measuring, hand and power tools;
- Follow established safety rules and regulations;
- Supervise helpers and apprentices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience
- Good operational knowledge of English
- Completion of secondary school
