AKAL Custom Homes & Framing Inc. is hiring a Drywall Installer for residential and commercial projects in Keswick, ON. The role involves measuring, cutting, installing, and finishing drywall. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone with hands-on experience and attention to detail.

Salary: $24.00 per hour
Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Or equivalent experience

Experience

1 to less than 7 months

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
  Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
  Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  Work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages
