Job Description
Position: Nursery Labourer (NOC 85103)
Company: Advance Nursery Co. Ltd.
Location: 6100 Collins Rd, Grand Forks, BC, V0H 1H9
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, On-Site
Wage: $20.00/hr, 40+ hours/week
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Budding trees
· Clean the crops
· Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas
· Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards
· Cut horticultural crops
· Deleaf agricultural crops to accelerate ripening
· Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
· Tie and secure plants
· Weeding
· Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
· Mix and prepare soils
· Plant bulbs and seeds
· Pot and re-pot plants
· Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
· Assist in grafting activities
· Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
· Clean work area
