Job Description

SAWMILL RESTAURANT (GRANDE PRAIRIE) LIMITED PARTNERSHIP O/A SAWMILL PRIME RIB AND STEAK HOUSE OF GRANDE PRAIRIE is now hiring a Permanent Full-Time Restaurant Supervisor position.

Duties include:
ยงย  Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
ยงย  Prepare food order summaries for cooks from customers
ยงย  Establish methods to meet work schedules
ยงย  Maintain records of stock, sales and wastage
ยงย  Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
ยงย  Supervise and check assembly of regular and special diet trays for customer
ยงย  Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
ยงย  Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate a positive working environment

Work Condition and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks and Attention to detail

Wages and Benefits: Wages of $18.50 per hour, for 35 to 40 hours per week.

Work Experience: Must have at least several years of experience in food preparation and service is required, with a strong command in English language both written and oral communication.

Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
