RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR

Job Description

SAWMILL RESTAURANT (GRANDE PRAIRIE) LIMITED PARTNERSHIP O/A SAWMILL PRIME RIB AND STEAK HOUSE OF GRANDE PRAIRIE is now hiring a Permanent Full-Time Restaurant Supervisor position.

Duties include:
§  Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
§  Prepare food order summaries for cooks from customers
§  Establish methods to meet work schedules
§  Maintain records of stock, sales and wastage
§  Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
§  Supervise and check assembly of regular and special diet trays for customer
§  Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
§  Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate a positive working environment

Work Condition and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks and Attention to detail

Wages and Benefits: Wages of $18.50 per hour, for 35 to 40 hours per week.

Work Experience: Must have at least several years of experience in food preparation and service is required, with a strong command in English language both written and oral communication.

Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
