Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week
Salary: $18.00 per hour

Job Overview:

 

We are seeking dependable and motivated Parcel Deliverers to join our team at ZAPG Fastway Courier Services. As a Parcel Deliverer, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of parcels to our customers. This position requires attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Safely deliver and pick up parcels, messages, and items by hand.
Operate vehicles such as cars, vans, and light trucks for delivery.
Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information.
Maintain records of items received and delivered.
Load and unload packages.
Follow maps, directions, and use trip planning aids.
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Record trip details, including mileage, fuel costs, and issues.
Requirements:

Education: Secondary school graduation certificate.
Experience: 1 to 7 months in a similar role.
Licenses: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, 2-axle vehicles).
Language: English fluency required.
Background Check: Criminal record check required.
Working Conditions:

Work Site Environment: Motor vehicles, on-site work (no remote option).
Physical Demands: The role involves walking, handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and physically demanding tasks.
Work Conditions: Tight deadlines, attention to detail, and working under pressure.

Organized and reliable.
Punctual and flexible.

Steel-toed safety boots.
