CNC (computer numerical control) machinist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

Tasks
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers,
calipers)
Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools
Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision
measuring instruments

Hourly Wage: 29.00 hourly and overtime pay as required by the Act respecting labour standards

Hours of Work: As required to meet requirements, generally 30 or 40 hours per week.

Schedule: Evening, Flexible Hours, Night, Overtime

Vacation: 2 weeks

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
