First Detailing Studio is a full-service car & auto detailing studio serving Edmonton and the surrounding area. We are professional installers of premium surface protection, and we know exactly what needs to be done to protect a vehicle’s paint from everyday road damage.

The professional auto detailing and surface protection industries are constantly evolving, and so are we. We are proud to hold certification with both Ceramic Pro Canada and XPEL Canada as well as many others – giving us a competitive edge when it comes to the services we offer.

We are looking for 3 dedicated Vehicle Coating Technicians to join the First Detailing team in Edmonton, AB. As a Vehicle Coating Technician, you would be performing the following on a regular basis:

• Perform meticulous surface preparation, including washing, decontaminating, and polishing vehicles before applying coatings.
• Apply ceramic coatings, paint protection films, and other advanced surface protection products following strict manufacturer guidelines.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to ensure precise and consistent application of coatings and films.
• Maintain and manage inventory of coating supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for each project.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional results and meet customer expectations.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure that vehicles meet First Detailing Studio’s high standards of excellence.
• Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in vehicle coating and surface protection.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in automotive detailing, especially in coating application, is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn: Full training will be provided for the right candidates, including certification opportunities.
• Certification from Ceramic Pro, XPEL, or similar recognized bodies is an asset.
• Attention to detail, with a passion for working on high-end vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good English language skills;
• Completion of secondary school;

COMPENSATION AND CONDITIONS:

• Temporary, full-time position
• Starting rate from $ 29.50 – $32.50 per hour, at least 40 hours work week;
• Occasional overtime may be required with applicable overtime pay after 44 hours of work per week
• Location of work: 15313 112 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 2N9
