Position: Crop farmer

Location: Hudson’s Hope, BC V0C 1V0

Rate: $18.66 hourly / 40 hours per Week

Vacancies: 04 vacancies

Permanent employment, Full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.

Experience: Will train

Responsibilities:

Tasks:
-Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas
-Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development
-Coordinate planting and cultivating activities
-Cultivate on vertical farming system
-Implement soil fertility programs
-Level earth to fine grade specifications
-Mixing fertilizer
-Organize planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities
-Seed cutting
-Weeding
-Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
-Perform general farm duties

Experience and specialization:

Equipment and machinery experience:
-Automated manure handling or storage system
-Feeding and watering system
-Harvesters

Product inspection experience: Grains
