Job Description

River City Countertops Ltd., a leading countertop manufacturing and installing company with over 22 years of experience, is looking for a new Countertop Installer to join our growing team!

Job location: Various job sites in Kamloops and surrounding are, BC

What we offer:

  • Permanent, full-time positions as Countertop Installers;
  • Hourly wage of $36.60
  • Extended health benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary school;
  • At least 2-3 years of countertop installing, repairing or servicing experience is required.

Job responsibilities:

  • Understand and interpret drawings and specifications;
  • Measure and mark surfaces to be used for installations;
  • Install prefabricated countertops (made of granite, marble, quartz, etc.);
  • Utilize hand and power tools to prepare countertops for installation, fit and cut countertops for kitchen and bathroom sink placement and drill faucet holes according to specifications;
  • Remove old kitchen and bathroom countertops if needed; fabricate and fasten new ones to the cabinetry;
  • Repair and service previously installed stone countertops;
  • Maintain safety protocols.
