Job Description

Iron Horse Rentals Ltd is looking for 1 full-time and permanent Maintenance mechanic at 20680-89A Avenue, Langley, BC, V1M 2N5.(Even though this is full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 32/hr and 40 hours/week.

Main Duties:

Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tool

Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions

Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts

Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.

Employment Requirements:

Completion of secondary school and training courses/ or a vocational program is usually required. At least 3-5 years of work experience in industrial machinery repair is usually required.
