Production System Engineer

Job Description

TKT Innovations Ltd is freeze try technology company located in Langley, BC, Canada. The company’s core business includes freeze-dry plant, equipment, product’s design, project management and operation. We are currently looking for a Production System Engineer to join the team.

As the Production System Engineer, the ideal applicant is required to complete the following tasks:

·      Identify manufacturing needs for client’s new products in development

·      Establish, implement, and improve manufacturing procedure, manuals, processes

·      Attend production meetings and forecast production requirements

·      Calculate production costs that include equipment, time, and labour

·      Test systems are working correctly and identify, investigate, and repair any system faults

·      Meet with managers to discuss methods of improving the productivity of existing systems, taking into consideration the use of the latest technology

·      Test, monitor and evaluate new mechanical equipment

·      Produce maintenance standards, schedules, and programs

·      Implement quality control standards

·      Keep up with current and developing engineering trends

·      Investigate environmental hazards as well as conduct safety tests and removing potential hazards

Highlight of Qualification:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required

·      Previous work experience with manufacturing, production or freeze dry system is required

·      Thorough knowledge of how production lines and other manufacturing processes operate

·      Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·      Ability to make decisions under pressure.

·      Great attention to detail and organizational skills

·      Ability to analyze and interpret data for decision-making

Employment Condition

Vacancy: 1

Term of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Compensation: $72800 per year, 30 hours per week
