Position Details
Position: Pharmacy Technical Assistant
Number of Vacancies: 2
Job Type: Full-time
Term: 3 years
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: Night Shift
Language of Work: English and French
Wage: $25.00 – $35.00/hour
Overtime: x1.5 after 40 workweek hours
Vacation: 2 weeks or more based on Quebec Labour Standard
Benefits: Travel Insurance, Transportation allowance, Group Insurance

Main Duties and Responsibilities
·         The successful candidate will be responsible for:

·         Assess prescriptions for completeness
·         Enter clients’ information and prescription details in databases
·         Help pharmacists and other pharmacy staff with preparing, packaging and labelling of pharmaceutical products
·         Assist in maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
·         Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
·         May process medical billing information
·         May price and stock items on shelves.
Job Requirements
Education:
College

Experience:
2 to less than 3 years of relevant work experience

Language:
English or French
