Job Description

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Employment Location: 421 Bentley St., Unit 5, Markham, ON L3R 9T2

Hours:  Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary:  $48.00 per hour, Group Insurance Benefits

Geographical areas of specialization:  China

Job Description:  The Inventory Control Manager will monitor the company’s inventory and stock in its factory in China (through on-line control) and in its distribution centre in Canada (in-person control)

Specific Skills:

(1) Lead and supervise warehouse staff to manage inventory and tracking

(2) devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures

(3) Supervise and lead warehouse staff in the inspection of the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages

(4) Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory

(5) Interpret and act on warehouse staff daily reports to ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers

(6) Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory

(7) Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive supplies

(8) Analyze data to anticipate future needs

(9) Evaluate suppliers to achieve future needs
