Job Description
Valley Acrylic Bath Ltd is seeking one full-time Finishing and Trimming Supervisor- Plastic (Acrylic) Products Manufacturing at 33778 North Railway Avenue Mission, BC V2V 1H6. (Even Though this full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 38.40 dollars per hour. No of hours are 40 per week.
Main duties:
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production workers who operate processing machines and equipment and who fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect acrylic and plastic parts and products.
Establish methods to meet production schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
Resolve work-related problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
Requisition materials and supplies required for production activities.
Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotion, and other staffing decisions.
May set up, adjust, and assist with the operation of production machines and equipment.
Employment Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required is required.
2-3 years of experience in the occupation supervised is usually required.
