Position: Meat Cutter

Starting Date: ASAP
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing and packaging a variety of meats, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cut, portion, and package a range of meats for distribution, ensuring accurate labeling and pricing.
· Operate and maintain meat processing equipment, such as grinders and slicers, to prepare meats according to specified requirements.
· Inspect meat products for quality, ensuring freshness, proper rotation and adherence to expiry dates.
· Keep meat processing equipment, work areas and storage facilities clean and organized, in line with safety and hygiene standards.
· Receive and store meat products according to company protocols, ensuring proper handling to maintain quality.
· Strictly adhere to government health and safety regulations and company standards.
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $20.5 per hour
Regular working hours: 35 hours per week
Location of work: 3767 Nashua Drive, Mississauga, ON, CA L4V 1R3
Benefits package: 10 days of paid vacation annually or 4% of the salary in lieu of paid vacation. Relocation costs are covered by the employer.

· A minimum of 3 months of experience as a meat cutter or in a similar role.
· Proficient in using meat-cutting tools and equipment.
· Physically capable of lifting and handling items up to 50 lbs.
