# FAMILY CAREGIVER
**Employer:** NESS LAKDAWALA
**Location:** Verdun, Quebec (H3E 0A8)
**Salary:** $20.00 per hour
**Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Employment Type:** Full-time, Term or Contract
**Start Date:** As soon as possible

## Introduction
Ness Lakdawala is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Family Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to an elderly in Verdun, Quebec. The successful candidate will play an important role in promoting the client’s comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well-being by assisting with daily living activities, personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and companionship. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, respectful, and committed to creating a safe and supportive home environment while building a positive and trusting relationship with the client and family.
## Responsibilities
* Administer bedside and personal care
* Administer medications as directed
* Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
* Support regular exercise activities, including walking
* Change non-sterile dressings
* Feed or assist with feeding
* Prepare and serve nutritious meals
* Provide companionship and emotional support
* Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
* Launder clothing and household linens
* Assist with daily living activities and personal care needs
## Qualifications
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
* 2 years to less than 3 years of related caregiving experience
* Ability to communicate in English or French
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Reliable, organized, and client-focused
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
## Work Environment
* On-site position in the employer’s home
* Optional live-in accommodation available at no charge (not a condition of employment)
* Physically demanding role involving sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks
* Flexible schedule including early mornings, mornings, and daytime hours
* Travel expenses paid by the employer
