IN-HOME CAREGIVER – PERSON WITH DISABILITY

Job Description

We are currently seeking an In-home caregiver (Person with a Disability)

Responsibilities:
-Provide care and companionship for an individual with a disability
-Administer bedside and personal care to my sister such as aid in bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
-Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding my sister.
-Perform routine health-related duties
-Administer medications
-Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, and making beds.

Hours of Work: As required to meet requirements, generally 30 to 40 hours per week.

Hourly Wage:$15.75 and overtime pay as required by the Act respecting labour standards

Vacation: 2 weeks

Job Type: Full-time

Starting date: As soon as possible

Location: MONTREAL, QUEBEC

Work Setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Employment Requirements:
• Completion of high school
• Must speak English
• At least 1 year of experience
