About the Role
Prairie Oasis Family Restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas
Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
Load buspans and trays
Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
Store clean dishes in designated areas
Replenish condiments and supplies
Package take-out food
Portion and wrap foods
Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
Stock refrigerators and salad bars
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment
Receive, unpack, and store supplies
Remove garbage and kitchen waste
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Requirements
Secondary school graduation certificate
1–2 years of experience in a similar role
Safe Food Handling Certificate
