Agricultural Technician

Job Description

T.I.C. Parts & Service is expanding and is now accepting applications for the position of Agricultural Technician. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a wide range of agricultural equipment.
  Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on tractors, combines, sprayers, and other heavy-duty agricultural machinery.
  Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify and resolve issues.
  Complete work orders, service reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow.
  Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.
  General technician duties as required.

Requirements

• Preferred: Red Seal Certification as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent experience.
  Experience in agricultural equipment repair and maintenance is highly preferred.
  Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focussed attitude.
  Valid driver’s license.
