Position:                  Restaurant Supervisor (NOC 62020)

Wage:                      $15.50 per hour

Type:                       Permanent, full-time (30 hours per week)

Schedule:               Day, Evening, Night, Shift, Weekend

OVERVIEW:

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 7 months to less than a year

Work setting: Restaurant, Relocation costs covered by the employer, Willing to relocate

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Requisition food and kitchen supplies

·       Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

·       Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

·       Hire food service staff

·       Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

·       Address customers’ complaints or concerns

·       Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

·       Prepare and submit reports

·       Prepare food order summaries for chef

·       Establish work schedules

·       Supervise food and beverage servers
