Job Description

Employer:               H&R Holdings Inc. O/A Hailey’s Restaurant & Lounge

Location:                 11212 Railway Ave, North Battleford, SK S9A 2R7. Work must be completed at the physical location.

Position:                  Restaurant Supervisor

Wage:                      $17 per hour

Type:                       1-year term, full-time (30 hours per week)

Schedule:               Evening, Shift, Night (night shift finishes at 2.00 am), On call, Day, Weekend

Starting:                  As soon as possible

Vacancy:                 1 position

 

OVERVIEW:

Language: English

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 7 months to less than a year

Work setting: Restaurant, Relocation costs covered by the employer, Willing to relocate

 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Establish methods to meet work schedules

·      Requisition food and kitchen supplies

·      Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

·      Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

·      Hire food service staff

·      Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

·      Prepare budget and cost estimates

·      Address customers’ complaints or concerns

·      Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

·      Prepare and submit reports

·      Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres

·      Supervise and check assembly of trays

·      Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys

·      Establish work schedules

·      Supervise 3–4 people
