St. Louis Bar and Grill is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. The successful candidate will help oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise staff, ensure excellent customer service, and support overall business performance in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year,

Key Responsibilities

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will:

  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour costs
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Set staff work schedules
  • Supervise staff (5–10 employees)
  • Train staff members
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Manage events and restaurant functions
