Company description: We are a shop for all things metal. Structural Steel, stairs, railings, open web steel joists, decking, house beams, custom weldments, installation of bridge girders and pre-engineered structures, repairs to dump boxes, buckets and other heavy industrial equipment components.

Type of Position: Permanent, full time

Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
• Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW).
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG, TIG and Flux-Core.
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
• Determine weldability of materials
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Previous fitting experience.

Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of experience

Education Required:
• Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience

Wage & Hours: $32.69
• Number of hours per day: 10h
