Our 32,000 square foot facility includes areas with 30- and 40-foot ceilings, serviced by two overhead cranes. In-house shearing, rolling, forming and machining allow us to closely monitor each facet of a project, ensuring quality control at each stage.

Type of Position: Permanent, full time

Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG, TIG and Flux-Core.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
• Pipe fitting/welding
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Previous fitting experience.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.

Skills Required:
• Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-to-eye coordination.
• Organized, team player, reliable.

Experience Required:
• 3-5 years of experience
•Experience in pressure vessel and/or piping spools, and TIG (aluminum and stainless steel).
• Experience in fabricating/welding techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), fusion welds, multipass, resistance, spot or seam.
• Experience working with Stainless steel (polishing and welding)

Education Required:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Wage & Hours: $28.50-$34.07
• Number of hours per day: 8
