Job Summary
Emilie Meyers is seeking a reliable and experienced Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive and safe care for children in a private home in Ottawa, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising children, supporting their daily routines and personal development, preparing nutritious meals, and maintaining a clean and safe household environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Supervising and caring for children in the employer’s home.
Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens.
Ensuring the children’s safety and well-being at all times.
Supporting children’s daily activities and routines.
Travelling with the family when required.
Performing other related childcare duties as required.
Employment Requirements
Applicants should have:

College or CEGEP education.
At least 1 year but less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Ability to care for children and handle duties involving children weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Willingness to travel as required.
Working Conditions
Work must be performed on-site at the employer’s private residence.
Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis; this is not a condition of employment.
Travel expenses will be paid by the employer when travel is required for work.
Transportation may be provided by the employer.
Travel insurance is provided as a benefit.
