Job Description
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
• Assessing stock requirements by analyzing demand trends and consumption patterns
• Generate weekly and monthly sales reports outlining key performance metrics and trends and present concise briefings to management regarding sales activities and outcomes.
• Assist in managing and analyzing business records streamlining operations and driving sales growth.
• Maintaining a liaison with customers by monitoring all staff schedules and performance
• Arrange purchases with suppliers for fresh food, beverages, and additional supplies.
• Rectify customer complaints and issues to provide the highest level of satisfaction.
• Plan special events, promotions and local marketing initiatives and communicate with management.
• Make sure that all local and national food safety codes are maintained.
• Regularly deals with Health and Safety officers to satisfy regulatory requirements.
Specific Job Requirements
• Experience in the food service sector, including supervisory/management experience is preferred.
• Demonstration and experience of use of standard concepts and practices in purchasing, handling/rotating inventory, and supervision of up to 4-5 employees
• Requires excellent communication skills, and ability to deal with all levels of employees.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant when needed and operate a Point-of-Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.
