Salary: $20.34 hourly, 40–44 hours per week
Terms of employment: Term or contract, Full-time
Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Overtime as required

Overview

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2–3 years
On site: Work must be completed at the employer’s home. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Support Worker (Home Support), you will:

Provide bedside and personal care
Assist with bathing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene
Administer medications
Collect specimens as required
Feed or assist clients with meals
Prepare and serve nutritious meals; cook as needed
Launder household clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship and emotional support
Support adults and persons with physical disabilities in daily activities
Experience and specialization

Fast-paced environment
Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
Standing for extended periods
Handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Ability to work under pressure and manage repetitive tasks
