Job Description
1000616364 ONTARIO INC. DBA Shorthillsvilla Retirement Community is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant at Location: 1532 Pelham Street, Fonthill, Ontario, L0S 1E3. (Even Though this full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 25 dollars per hour. No of hours are 40 per week.
Main Duties:
Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices etc.
Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material
Co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Greet and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person
Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
May organize conferences
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of a one- or two-year college or another program for administrative assistants or secretaries or Previous clerical experience of 1-2 years is required.
