Job Description
JPT GAMBLE ENTERPRISES LTD. O/A CANADIAN TIRE in Penticton, British Columbia, is now hiring a Permanent Full-Time Retail Sales Associates.
Duties Includes:
l Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise
l Advise customers on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products
l Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
l Prepare sales and accept cash, cheque, credit card payments
l Assist in display of merchandise
l Maintain sales records for inventory control
Wages and Benefits: Wages $18.00 per hourly, for 35-40 hours per week. Health and Dental, Long-term disability, Accidental disability and Life Disability.
Work Experience: Previous visual merchandising experience may be required and demonstrated sales ability and product knowledge are usually required for retail salespersons who sell complex merchandise. Have a strong command in English language both in oral and written communication may be required.
Education: Completion of secondary school education may be required.
