Job Overview:

Movado Restaurant is currently hiring two (2) Cooks (NOC 63200) to join our culinary team in Regina, Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment and supporting overall kitchen operations.

Education & Experience:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Environment:

Setting: Restaurant
Workplace: On-site only
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Weekend

Responsibilities:

Determine the size of food portions and estimate food costs
Plan menus and estimate food requirements
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and functionality
Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
Order supplies and equipment
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
Manage overall kitchen operations
