Company Overview:
D&G Logistics Inc. is a leading transportation company with a dedicated Truck and Trailer Repair Division. Currently, we are looking to hire two mechanic helpers to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required.
Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and general inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working order.
Assist with complex repairs, including part replacements, diagnosing mechanical issues, and supporting test drives to confirm repairs are successful.
Help manage parts inventory and organize necessary components for repairs and maintenance.
Support lead mechanics by handling tools, ensuring they are properly stored, maintained, and readily accessible during repair tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely and appropriately.
Carry out light mechanical tasks like refueling, inspecting hoses and belts, and performing basic upkeep on equipment.
Follow safety regulations and procedures, adhering to the instructions provided by lead mechanics and supervisors.
Assist with documenting repairs and maintenance activities to ensure accurate records are kept for service tracking and compliance.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks.
Requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Skills and Personal Suitability:

Organized and reliable.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Experience: Will train.

Workplace Information:

Work must be completed at the physical location.
No option for remote work.
