Job Description
We are a private family located in Richmond, BC, seeking two caring, responsible full-time nannies to provide dedicated care for our two elementary school-aged children. This is an on-site role with no remote work option.
We’re looking for someone who truly enjoys spending time with children, supports their growth, and helps maintain a positive, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
As our nanny, your duties will focus entirely on the care and development of our children, including:
- Supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Assisting them with daily routines such as getting ready for school and bedtime
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for the children
- Guiding them in personal hygiene and helping build good habits
- Supporting their social and emotional development through positive, caring interactions
- Planning and leading fun, age-appropriate games, activities, and outing
- Escorting or driving them to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities
- Helping with homework and encouraging a love of learning
- Following the parents’ approach to discipline and reinforcing household rules as they apply to the children
Qualifications
- Previous experience caring for children is an asset
- Completion of secondary education
- First aid certification and a valid driver’s license are considered strong assets
Work Environment
- Non-smoking household
- Work is performed on-site only
