Position: Polisher, stone products.

Location: Richmond, BC. V7A 4X6

Rate: $26.65 hourly / 40 hours per Week.

Day, Early Morning, Morning, Overtime

Permanent employment, Full time.

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.

Work site environment: Noisy, Dusty.

Work setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant

Responsibilities:

Tasks:
-Perform ongoing machine adjustments
-Operate stone-dressing lathe to sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp
-Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases
-Finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel
-Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite
-Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products

Experience and specialization:

Equipment and machinery experience: Polishing machines
