Job Description
Parson Family Farm is a long‑standing grain operation located near Elrose, Saskatchewan. We are a proud family‑run farm managing more than 6,000 acres of wheat, canola, lentils, and other prairie crops. As our farm continues to grow, we are looking for a young, motivated worker—ideally someone with a family—who would like to build a stable future and become part of our farming community.
Duties: (not limited to):
Conducting general farm maintenance and support work as needed
Responsibilities and duties will include supervising and completing various tasks, including seeding, spraying, and harvesting.
Ensuring farm safety procedures are always followed.
Coordinating activities of general farm and/or harvesting workers.
Supervise and monitor basic maintenance of farm machines and buildings.
You will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and operation of various types of modern, high-tech equipment, including but not limited to a sprayer, combine, and tractor.
Required to work without supervision.
General farm duties as required.
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Equivalent experience
2–3 years of experience working on a grain farm or similar agricultural operation
Experience operating modern, high‑technology farm machinery (GPS‑guided equipment, combines, sprayers, tractors)
Fluent English and strong writing skills
Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to safely operate and understand modern farm machinery.
Basic computer skills for record‑keeping and communication
Valid Driver’s Licence
