Job Overview:

Blue Diamond Restaurant is a well-established dine-in and takeout restaurant located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We are currently hiring three (3) Cooks (NOC 63200) to join our kitchen team. This role involves preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Education & Experience:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Environment:

Setting: Restaurant and Bar
Workplace: On-site only
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Weekend

Responsibilities:

Determine portion sizes and food costs
Plan menus and estimate food requirements
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
Order kitchen supplies and equipment
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
Oversee and manage kitchen operations
