Salary: $23.00/hour

Term of employment: Full-time permanent position (30 – 40 hours/week)

V Nails Slave Lake offers exceptional nail care and beauty services, including manicures, pedicures, eyelash extensions, nail extensions, and waxing. With a focus on hygiene, quality, and customer satisfaction, their talented team is dedicated to exceeding expectations.

We are currently looking for two Nail technicians to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver manicure and pedicure treatments designed to enhance an individual’s appearance.

This vacancy is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, newcomers, refugees, youths, and others.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Remove old nail polish from fingernails and toenails, clean nails, shape the ends of nails, push back cuticles, and apply new polish based on clients’ preferences,
• Provide gel and acrylic nail extension,
• Apply artificial nails,
• Recommend various nail designs and nail art to clients,
• Evaluate the condition of clients’ nails and advise them on proper nail care treatments,
• Clean the workstation and keep it organized, clean and safe,
• Welcome, greet clients and maintain customer relationship to encourage repeat nail appointments,
• Schedule and confirm appointments with clients,
• Perform work as requested.

Qualifications:

• One year of experience as a nail technician,
• Flexible working schedule including evenings and weekends,
• Customer oriented – build and maintain good relationship with customers,
• Creative and flexible – develop new designs, customize colors, patterns, and designs as per clients’ requests.
