Job Duties:
• Feed the machines and assist with setting-up various sections on machine accurately in accordancewith proper setup techniques.
• Obtain order and verify stock specifications and condition.
• Monitor box quality and report any quality problems to the Operator.
• Complete necessary administrative duties and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist operators with job duties on machine.
• Turn in maintenance orders to shift lead for repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.
• Complete all daily housekeeping duties as directed by the Supervisors.
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments.
• Fill ink fountains and take measurements, make adjustments and determine settings to control colour and viscosity.
• Set up press and check samples for ink coverage, alignment, and registration.
• Monitor regular press runs for quality and consistency using computer control console and make adjustments as required.
• Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run.

Education Required:
• Secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent experience.

Wage & Hours: $24.30
• Number of hours per day: 12
• Number of days per week: 3 or 4
• Number of hours per week: average of 42
• Overtime starts after how many hours: 44 (as per Collective Agreement)
• Shift rotation: day / afternoon / evening shift as per Collective Agreement
Midnight shift: 0.85$ per hour
Afternoon shift: 0.55$ per hour
