Job Duties:
• Repair trucks, trailers and/or power equipment.
• Ensure motors, motor vehicles, automotive systems, and related components run perfectly.
• Perform checkup of automotive parts and components and replace if needed. Do routine check-ups for clients.
• Test out units and make sure they work according to standards.
• Look over work orders from clients and meet with manager to discuss any work that was done.
• Document all repairs on work orders or computer system. Fill out appropriate inspection sheets when required. Ensure all parts are marked on a daily basis.
• Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment.
• Must maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills Required:
• Manual dexterity, aptitude for truck maintenance and repair.
• A team player, reliable, able to prioritize and work safely.
• Ability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to carry out assignments to completion within instructions and standard practices.
• Abide by shop procedures and company policies.
• Familiar with open pit and mine operations as well as aggregates.
• Must be able to obtain Driving License.
• Must be able to obtain Trade Certificate.
Experience Required:
• 3 years to 5 years of relevant experience.
Education Required:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or a Vocational program or equivalent experience.
Wage & Hours: $30.41 / h
