Job description：

1. The Early childhood educators and assistant works with the ECE Instructor to develop and implement programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children aged 12 months to 5 years.
2. Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, preparing crafts, and taking children to local points of interest.
3. Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
4. Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
5. Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
6. Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
7. Discuss the progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
8. Maintain daycare equipment.
9. Adhere to licensing policies and guidelines.

Qualification
1. Minimum secondary school graduation.
2. Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate or ECE Assistant Certificate.
3. Child Care First Aid, Basic First Aid (previously OFA Level 1) & Food Safe Level 1 Certification.
4. Minimum of one year of proven experience working in a licensed child care setting with children aged 12 months to 5 years, including children with allergies and behavioural challenges, and demonstrated experience in a Montessori or Montessori-inspired educational environment.

5. Knowledge of Montessori philosophy, classroom practices, and child-centred learning approaches is required.
