Job Description

Jay Kali Construction Ltd. located at 7536 140 Surrey, BC V3W 5J8 Canada is currently looking for 2 Full-time Carpenter to join our team asap and will be able to perform following job duties.

Job Duties:

·         To read and translate blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.

·         Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.

·         Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.

·         Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes.

·         Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.

·         Maintain and renovate residences wooden structures.

Job Requirement:

·         Completion of Secondary school is required.

·         2-3 years of experience in the related field.

·         Willing to travel to various sites in Lower Mainland, BC.

Terms of Employment:

Wage: $31.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. Overtime will start after 40 hours a week.

Job Location: 7536 140 Surrey, BC V3W 5J8 & Various locations in Lower Mainland, BC.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of standing, sitting and walking.

Personal Suitability: Team Player, reliability, Punctuality.

Own tools/Equipment: steel-toed safety boots.
