Construction Helper

Job Description

Fixit Mechanical Ltd. located at Unit 11, 8528 123 ST Surrey, BC, V3W 3V6 is currently looking for 1 Construction Helper to join their team and be able to perform the following job duties.

Job Duties:

·         Load, unload and transport construction materials.

·         Mix, pour and spread materials.

·         Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

·         Assist the trade person in preforming the daily job duties at the construction sites.

·         Clean and pile salvaged materials.

·         Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and remove hazardous materials.

·         Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
Job Requirement:
– No degree, certificate or diploma
– Experience will be an asset

Terms of Employment:

Salary: $24.00 /Hourly. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
Job Type: Fulltime.

Must be willing to travel to work sites all over lower Mainland BC.
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, Attention to Detail, Combination of sitting, standing & walking.

Personal suitability: Team Player, Reliability, Flexible
Major Work Area: Construction, Renovation, and Maintenance
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
